A+ is proud to present its newest publication, Alabama Public Education at a Glance. It provides a good snapshot of Alabama schools — a statewide look and district-level data — along with a clearer picture of the progress and the challenges.

A+ applauds and supports the State Board of Education’s Plan 2020. This strategic plan puts Alabama on a path to ensuring all students graduate from high school without the need for remedial education or training when they enroll in a two- or four-year college, or technical or trade school, or enter a career.

It’s critical to root important decisions in hard data and facts. This book provides that by presenting unbiased information about where Alabama stands, and it highlights how critical it is to continue working toward finding more of the many solutions needed to solve the complex issues in our education system.
