In an op-ed in the Birmingham News last week, business leaders Mike Luce of Birmingham and Bob Powers of Eufaula announced the creation of the Alabama School Readiness Alliance Pre-K Task Force.
The task force was created to bring prominent business, education, philanthropy and community leaders from across the state together to develop a unified vision for expanding the state’s First Class pre-k program. Over the next few months, ASRA’s Pre-K Task Force will grow to include at least fifty prominent business and community leaders from across Alabama.
