
Sarah Waldinger is the Senior Director of Policy at A+ Education Partnership, where she supports the organization’s policy, advocacy, and implementation work to move towards great schools for every child, regardless of circumstance. Since joining the team in December 2024, she has supported the passage and implementation of the RAISE Act and other impactful policies. She writes several of our key publications, including A+’s State Budget Watch, Across the Board, federal trackers, one-off publications, and Policy Portal resources.
Before A+, Sarah served as Education and Outreach Specialist at the Miller Center of Public Affairs, where she developed programs for social studies teachers. Sarah is a former Teach for America Alabama corps member, and she taught 7th grade English in Birmingham. She serves on the TFA Alabama Alumni Board, and is a member of the Junior League. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from Roanoke College and a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Virginia.
Sarah lives in Birmingham with her sweet (and energetic!) dog, Oden. She enjoys good books, hiking national parks, and spending time with her friends.
