Dawn Barranco serves as Chief Financial Officer of A+ Education Partnership. She graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and spent 33 years in public accounting, specializing in auditing nonprofit organizations and gaining valuable experience in financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning. As a product of Alabama’s public schools, Dawn was drawn to A+ by its mission to help ensure that every child in Alabama has access to a high-quality education. She is passionate about supporting the organization’s work to strengthen educational opportunities for students across the state. Outside of work, Dawn and her husband, Steve, enjoy traveling and making memories with their three adult children and large extended family. In her off time, she enjoys photographing babies, seniors, and weddings.
