June 4, 2019 @ 8:00 am - June 7, 2019 @ 4:00 pm
This event is reserved for Year 3 Biology Teachers
Biology teachers who have already attended Year 1 and Year 2 E3 summer training in Biology have an opportunity to attend four days of enriching professional learning at the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology June 4-7, 2019. Training will be held from 8 AM to 4 PM daily. Each day is designed to empower educators to take their genetics lessons beyond the textbook. Dig deeply into modern genomic research, tour state of the art facilities and hear from the researchers making those discoveries, as well as learn how to expand the classroom utility of HudsonAlpha kits. Attendance at this training will meet a program/pipeline school teacher’s requirement for YEAR 3 training and make him/her eligible for a 2019-20 Letter of Agreement (LOA).
