A+ College Ready, in collaboration with the Alabama State Department of Education, is proud to recognize 12 schools across the state for their exceptional academic growth and student achievement. These schools have gone above and beyond in preparing students for success in college, careers, and life, demonstrating the power of high expectations, challenging coursework, and dedicated support.
This year, schools were honored with one of three awards:
- School of Excellence – for schools that met or exceeded academic goals for the 2024–2025 school year.
- School of Distinction – for schools meeting or exceeding goals for at least two consecutive years.
- Mary D. Boehm School of Achievement – for schools that reached their goals in all three years of the program.
“In order for students to be successful in life after K–12 schooling, they need to be challenged and supported in school. Their commitment to high standards and rigorous instruction will impact students for years to come.” Tammy Dunn, Vice President for Academic Affairs at A+ College Ready
