Megan Skipper serves as Chief of Staff at A+ Education Partnership, where she supports organizational strategy and helps ensure the team’s work translates into lasting impact for students across Alabama. She joined A+ in December 2018 as Director of Communications, later serving as Vice President of Communications and Strategic Initiatives before stepping into her current role.
Megan began her career in 2016 as a Communications and Research Coordinator at the Montgomery Education Foundation. After a brief stint as a political strategist during the 2018 midterm elections, she returned to education advocacy, drawn back by her belief that strong policy and communication can change outcomes for students. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a focus on Public Policy from Auburn University and a Master’s degree in Strategic Communication from Troy University.
Originally from Daphne, Alabama, Megan now lives in Montgomery, where she enjoys spending time with her husband, Hunter, and their two dogs and a cat.
