John Richey serves as a Leadership Consultant with A+ College Ready, a position he has held since 2015. He works to recruit new schools and supports existing schools to ensure implementation of the A+ College Ready curriculum.
John served as a teacher and administrator in the Albertville City Schools, Arab City Schools, and Guntersville City School before joining A+ College Ready.
He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Auburn University, a Master of Arts degree in History from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, and Education Specialist degree from the University of Alabama.
Outside of education, John loves to cook, read, and travel. He and his wife Laura love spending time with their family (especially their three grandchildren).
