Gina has worked in education since transitioning from industry in 1999 and joined A+ College Ready in 2020. In her role, she supports computer science education and works to expand CS opportunities for students and educators. Having experienced the program’s impact as both a teacher and a parent, she values seeing students gain confidence, develop new skills, and experience success.
Gina began her career with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and later earned a Master of Business Administration while working in industry. After moving into education, she earned a master’s degree in education and certification in instructional leadership. Before joining A+ College Ready, she taught computer science at both the middle and high school levels, including at two A+ College Ready program schools. Her work in computer science education has also included national consulting with organizations such as the College Board and the National Math and Science Initiative.
Outside of work, Gina enjoys life on her family farm. She spends her free time reading, collecting typewriters, and playing with her golden retrievers.
