Make-Up Administrator Training – Marzano Year 1 Elements

August 28, 2019 @ 8:30 am - 3:00 pm

A+ College Ready is pleased to offer a make-up session of our day-long professional learning event to engage Administrators in our 2019 – 20 Program & Pipeline Schools as well as Partner Schools in The New Art and Science of Teaching. Through understanding Marzano’s instructional framework, administrators will gain insight on pedagogical components embedded in the subject-specific curricula delivered to their teachers at E3 Summer Training.

This training will consist of a recording of our June event featuring Dr. Phil Warrick, Author, and Associate with Marzano Research.

The New Art and Science of Teaching is an instructional framework that comprehensively addresses the well-researched components teachers use to make the most alterable effect on student achievement. One of the major changes in The New Art and Science of Teaching is the focus on student outcomes, as opposed to teacher outcomes. The premise is that teachers who implement instructional strategies will, in turn, help students use mental processes that successively enhance learning.

This event is reserved for principals, assistant principals, and A+coordinators of A+ College Ready 2019 – 2020 Program, Pipeline, and Partner Schools. Registration is required for attendance and is non-transferrable. Attendance at this event is required for the ACLD approved PLU being offered to program, the pipeline, and partner administrators.

This event is free to administrators and lunch will be provided.
