E3 2025 in Review: Built to Last.

Educators across Alabama rolled up their sleeves and attended training, ready to work this summer. We were proud to build alongside them. This summer, the number of educators who attended training broke records. Throughout, A+ College Ready’s E3 and AP Summer Intensive Training welcomed more than 1,900 educators from across the state. All were committed to laying a stronger foundation for their students and schools.

With 400 educators joining us in June, our in-person sessions kicked off with energy and momentum. These sessions focused on Year 2 and Year 3 teachers and our Advanced Placement (AP) Intensive. The result? Classrooms filled with collaboration, curiosity, and the kind of professional learning that sticks long after summer ends.

July took it to the next level, with over 1,100 teachers participating in training for Years 1, 2, and 3. From brand-new educators to seasoned veterans continuing their growth, the rooms were alive with meaningful dialogue, shared strategies, and a shared commitment to student success.

We were also thrilled to connect with 350 educators virtually. This flexible option allowed us to reach more teachers across the state, breaking down barriers and making high-quality professional learning accessible to all, no matter where they logged on from.

In total, E3 brought together educators from approximately 365 schools across the state of Alabama, all working to raise the bar for academic achievement and opportunity. Whether they were new to the classroom or seasoned professionals, each participant brought a spirit of innovation and a willingness to roll up their sleeves and get to work.

Our team of 130 trainers helped guide the experience, leading hands-on, engaging, and deeply relevant sessions to today’s classrooms. And behind the scenes, 20 dedicated volunteers helped keep everything running smoothly.

We also welcomed 55 school and district administrators because we know lasting change starts with strong leadership. We’re proud to support leaders who are ready to build better systems for their students.

This summer, over 2,000 Alabama educators participated in our training events. If each reaches just 100 students, 200,000 students across the state are impacted by the strategies, content, and community built through E3.

This summer, from the first welcome session to the final breakout, was a true testament to what’s possible when passionate educators come together with a shared mission. We’re incredibly grateful for every teacher, school leader, trainer, volunteer, and partner who made it happen. As the school year begins, the work continues, but the groundwork has been laid, the tools are in hand, and we can’t wait to see what our E3 participants build across schools in Alabama.
