Retirement of Tammy Dunn and Teri Thompson

A+ Education Partnership is announcing the retirement of A+ College Ready’s Vice President of Academic Affairs, Tammy Dunn, and Vice President of Operations, Teri Thompson. For the last decade, these leaders have served at the helm of our A+ College Ready program, forging pathways for program innovation and developing a high-impact team across the state. During their tenure, in partnership with the Alabama State Department of Education, the program expanded to support middle schools through the MSTIP along with individual classroom teachers through ITIP, ensuring the continuous impact of the program statewide. Additionally, A+ College Ready has led the state in the expansion of computer science education and teacher training, along with many other initiatives. We are thankful for their service to our organization and seek to continue their legacy as the program enters this new chapter.

 

A+ Education Partnership is now seeking a new Vice President of A+ College Ready. This position will serve as the next visionary leader, continuing the program’s growth and innovation for the next chapter of the program. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating great schools for every child and supporting excellent instruction in every classroom. This position reports to the President of A+ Education Partnership, serves on the A+ Education Partnership leadership team, and supports the execution of the organization’s strategic plan. The ideal candidate for this position will be visionary, proactive, strategic, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement.
