Teaching and Learning Hootenanny

January 28, 2019 @ 9:00 am - January 29, 2019 @ 12:00 pm

Free

On January 28-29, 2019, we will hold a Teaching and Learning Hootenanny at Camp McDowell. It will be modeled after an Ed Camp, with a variety of sessions scheduled to interest and bring together current and past members of the Instructional Partners Network. As an added bonus, Ron Berger, the lead author of Leaders of Their Own Learning, will be on hand to speak and interact with participants. Ron is currently at work on a companion book to Leaders of Their Own Learning, and he will share some of its resources at the Hootenanny.

Camp McDowell staff have agreed to offer sessions on their Environmental Camp, Farm School, and Nature Pre-K. Additionally, they hope to attract some musicians for Monday evening, so we can truly have a Hootenanny! If space is available, PCN and KLN members will also be able to attend.

*Cost is $200

(*This is for a double room – single rooms are limited and will cost more)
