Reading Assignment:
To prepare for the next KLN session, please do the following:
• Bring a copy of your vision or mission statement (If you are school-based, bring your school vision or mission statement. If you are district-based, bring your district vision or mission statement AND at least one vision/mission statement of one of your schools—perhaps one that isn’t represented at KLN).
• Convene a small group of colleagues to review one of the rubrics we considered at the last meeting, using these instructions. Every KLN team member is encouraged to do this and to bring the completed reflection sheet included in the attachment with you to the session.
• Read/Review chapter 3, “Committing to Public Learning” and chapter 4, “Developing a Vision for the Instructional Core” in The Internal Coherence Framework.
