Instructional Partners Network 101

The Instructional Partners Network consists of instructional coaches/partners, principals, teacher leaders, and others from across the state ranging from Muscle Shoals to Baldwin County and from Dothan, to Madison City. Focused on strengthening the knowledge and skills of participants, the IPN provides ongoing professional learning—both face-to-face and through a virtual online platform. Participants value both the learning and networking that occurs during the retreats, but also the connections made with role-alikes in other districts. The guiding text for those joining the IPN is Jim Knight’s Unmistakable Impact, supplemented by current research and protocols.
This session is for schools not yet involved in the Instructional Partners Network, for those who want a refresher, or for schools with a new principal or instructional coach.
*Cost for the two-day learning session is $100 per person, and participants are eligible for a state-approved PLU. They should bring a copy of Jim Knight’s Unmistakable Impact with them.*
This will take place at Children’s Harbor on Lake Martin. This has a lovely conference room overlooking the water and hotel-style rooms in cabins. The dress is casual. Here is a map to Children’s Harbor.
