The ALSDE / A+ College Ready Social Studies and Civics Initiative is partnering with a number of public and private organizations around the state to expand and promote the social studies, humanities, and civic participation.

Three items of note that pertain directly to Alabama teachers and students are the Young Heroes Scholarship opportunity, the Fund for Teachers Grant Program, and the American Graduate Champion program, all of which are accessible from their home page.
